**Introduction**
After seeing nice Keograms
on SpaceWeather I wanted to make a Windows ready software capable of making
those images.
But after seeing a few movies of auroras used for this, I knew that I had
to go further!
This is why, in about one hundred hours, I created Keogram Master which
excels in making bi-directional Keograms showing the events with more fidelity!
I am waiting for your feedback on sweiller[at]free[dot]fr .

Software Tutorial:
1. Opening Files
You can open images, directories, animated GIFs, or MP4 videos.
2. Preparing the Video Flux
If needed, design an ellipse by placing four points with the mouse.
Validate the selection with a mousewheel click to keep only the video
flux.
3. Selecting Keogram Mode
Choose Keogram mode from the four available options.
Click Keogram to generate the output.
4. Viewing the Keogram
The keogram will appear at 100% size with scrollbars.
You can stretch the view to examine it more easily and see the timing
displayed above.
5. Saving Files
Files are automatically saved to disk in JPG, PNG, or BMP format.
By default, saving occurs in the application directory, but you
can select another location.
6. Customizing Display
Date-Time Information: Adjust the size using Live Tick and Font
Size Factor.
After changing the value, move the mouse out of the control
for a few seconds.
You will be asked if you want to apply the change instantly
to saved images.
Vertical Size: Modify the keogram’s vertical size with V Div Factor
to improve appearance.
Frame Decimation: If the original frames are too numerous, reduce
them using Decimate by....
7. Managing Metadata
You can save single Date-Time information and reload it later.
8. Monitoring and Debugging
Track FFMPEG activity with Show FFMPEG.
Choose whether to keep or delete temporary files between runs.
If you encounter difficulties, enable Debug Mode for verbose processing.
9. Updates
If a newer version is available on the server, a flashing fuchsia
panel labeled “!!Update!!” will
appear in the upper right corner.
