STORM  over  ORSAY UNIVERSITY

Winds with incredible speed (around 160 Km/h) have devastated the forest in Orsay University of Sciences (December 26th 1999). Here single huge trees are down, there most of the trees are cut at mid-height. It is a real ecological and landscape catastrophe.

On Jan 2nd 2000, I have taken some impressive images in 3D.  In each row : The picture on the right is to be seen with Red-Green or Blue-Green glasses (red over left eye). Sorry, overall quality is affected by compression. The two other are to be seen without any accessory for those who have learned 3D-inverted vision as it is possible in my special page. Inverted-vision give beautiful 3D depth, color and resolution quality for two reasons : 1) twice more pixels & 2) the defects caused by JPG compression in both pictures are leveled, all but restoring original uncompressed quality.

(A few more images later...)
