Retired more than 12 years ago, I live part in Israël, part in france.

I have participated to the beginning of the webcam adventure in astronomy, a time (~year 2000) where we were modifying all the Philips ToUCams we could put a hand on.

Today, my main interests are ISS Hires tracking (C8 Edge and recently 125x Coolpix P1000), the Sun in H-alpha (Coronado SM90, double-stack PST & 2.2x enhanced PST),
planetary imaging with a Meade 12" LX-200 and 10" Classic, Moon with the Coolpix P1000, 3D stereoscopic imaging especially macros, near infrared (NIR), thermal infrared (TIR), UV photography, High Speed (slow motion movies more and more with newer cameras), Lightnings photography ...

I have a full spectrum Canon EOS 1100D, 2x A7s MK1 with one Halpha defiltered.

For ISS tracking, I use a rare, special modified EQ-G mount and Videos Sky software, both developped by Emmanuel Rietsch !

I am day after day grateful to the authors of RegiStax5&6, Autostakkert!3, VirtualDub, GIMP2, Astrosnap(XP only),
Deepskystacker, SER-Player & PIPP, FireCapture and many more !
They are some of the best amateur astronomy tools !

I have been most active in RegiStax5/6 development, some in SER-Player and I am member of the SCF (french 3D stereo club).

With Gilbert Grillot we develop some utilisties too !

A couple of times my imagery of the Sun have led by chance to scientific publications ...
